Supertyphoon Haitang - Taiwan  July 18  2005

Attempts to drive north from Hualien City during the typhoon proved quite exiting... myself and a number of motorists were stranded overnight in this tunnel between 2 large slips, a rock falling from above a tunnel entrance smashed  through the back window of my (rental) car at about this time also. July 18  2005
